Not to mention 'Lee Konitz and Warne Marsh Live at Whitley Bay' That one actually exists ! I thought the places up there only did grab-a-granny nights and not cutting edge jazz

  12. Yeah, and as I recall you had to have the 'secret zweitausendeins code numbers' to get the sets identified and loaded into your basket as they didn't appear by doing regular searches. Our good friend from the board had the magic numbers to hand, big to him.
  13. Probably the footpath. Or the Post Office.
  14. The first time I bought one of these sets from zwei quite a few years ago (Coltrane) it was the cubes that they sent. The second time round though every single one was a big box with the booklets. I managed to snag the Pepper, Mingus, Montgomery, Monk, Coltrane and both Bill Evans's. It was a fellow board member here on org and living in Germany I believe who let everyone know these were available. At the time they were also selling 30 euro Euro-Mosaics too (which went like hot cakes).

  23. I'll bet he bought in bulk off of zweitausendeins, who had this set for about 30 euros, back in the day !
  24. It's a long shot but you never know. The particular programme I'm thinking of sure sounded like him. Sort of like a 'National Geographic' style programme with solo flute intro.
