  1. maybe the Ukrainian thought that was worth it? knowing the Spanish and their stallion mentality, I can understand why they thought it was a deep red offense! Stallion mentality in Zapatero's and Almodovar's country? Don't think so, maybe is the rerefee that is homophopic
  2. Keith Jarret Concerts ECM. I wish Manfred Eichler gagged Keith in these recordings, great music anyway
  3. Thanks, cousin. If I would live near the Italy/France borders, I will put up a road signal: Welcome to to Italy, you're in a Berlusconi-Free Country. About the match, we missed at least three fundamental players: Zambrotta and Gattuso (out for physical problems), and and our best player, Totti. With all these guys in perfect form and from what I saw until now, we have some chances.
  4. Damn, I just bet against Italy ten euros. So, because I am supersticious I will have to bet against us for the next matches!
  5. Sadly, it was available only for UK citizen . Anyway I discover that italian national Tv will broadcast most of the evening matches, for free.
  6. For sure, Argentina's coach is a thought guy, he left home all the 'senators' player like Veron, Samuel, etc.. I agree with Brownie: solid team, they could go far. Dmitry, your paragon with Bearzot's team almost make me cry...for nostalgia
  7. Hey, it seems that some big bosses of Fifa read my post, I can see Argentina's match LIVE this evening...without spent a cent.
  8. Well, actually I am a communist about popular sports like football and Tour de France, they should be owned by people, not by a bunch of greedy businessmen. I am not a commies about my records collection! BTW I think The Great Helmsman liked swimming, or sailing, judging by his nickname.
  9. So, it seems that heavy smokers like me are still useful. l
  10. You know what? I can't see any match, a part Italy, because all the matches are broadcasted by a pay tv, and I don't have it, and I don't want to pay for it. I am a pretty damn communist and I think that football is property of the supporters. So, if Blatter, Murdoch and all this fucking asshole think I will pay for it , fuck them. I'll go to spin a record. One of this days the football's toy will broke in the hands of this exploiters of the working class, that is what it's happening right now in Italy with scandals. Viva Lenin, Viva Marx, Viva Mao Tze Dong!

    High end table

Interesting stuff. The only question is: Scotty, can it spin records at warp speed?
  12. I don't know his solo effort, but I will always greatful to him for being the fifth Beatles and the sixth Stones. R.I.P.
  13. I am on John' side, but compare Paul's camp to Karl Rove... I can't conceive it, maybe I am naive, but I will believe it when Rove/Wolfowitz will realease 'Sgt. Bush's Lonely Asshole Club Gang'.
  14. Exactly. Anyway I doubt that a guy who smoked grass at Buckingham Palace and had legions of groupies during his career would have any problems about the 'obscure' past of his wife. Expecially if you consider what will be the cost of divorce. On the contrary her past as SM model would scores some points for me The only thing that comes to mind is that Macca wish to run as Governor for some Bible Belt State, Schwarzy docet.
  15. Don't know this particular record, but I regularly listen to Petrella's concert when he plays in Rome. He's one of the most talented and innovative young italian jazzmen.
  16. Let us know if they start to counterfeit used vinyl, with proper pops, clicks and scratches Please post the info in the Vinyl Thread
  17. Sonny Rollins ALFIE, Impulse! stereo. This RVG stereo recording of mid 60' sounds great, I am asking myself if all the monos of this period do really worth the extra money. I don't like the extreme separation of channel and instruments of some of RVG BN stereos, (and avoid like pest some of the early Atlantic stereos, it sounds like the saxofonist is playing in the kitchen and the drummers in the bedroom and you are listen to them in the corridor). Maybe the major number of musicians in Alfie's recording benefit of a stereo recording. I know it's a Pandora's box: late monos are fold down, you should have a real mono cardtrige, etc... everybody has a different opinion, my two cents.
  18. My answear is: No, until Mosaic will realase the Complete Recording of Kenny G.
  19. Miles Davis Collectors Items, Prestige NY label, with 'Charlie Chan'
  20. Great! Better then my NSA secret files.
  21. Beethoven's Violin Sonatas, Perlman/Ashkenazy Decca Box Set
  22. Mostly I buy vinyls on eBay, and the grading it's obviously crucial. I tend to buy from sellers I already know, even if this means that you pay usually more. An immaculate reputation is cost for a buyer and a value for the seller, but it's a sort of insurance. That's the reason because people like Ron Rambach gets the highest price for Blue Note. Anyway I had bad and good suprise, both with reliable and unknown sellers. The difference is that with a reliable seller I have a civil relationship and a refund. In sone cases the refund it didn't worth the cost of shipping back, so I laid off, without leaving feedback. What piss me off is the fact that negative feedback is hardly reachable. I think ebay should keep it reachable with a dedicated link even they are years old .
  23. Back on the groove, at last. Miles Davis At Carnegie Hall, Columbia mono 'six eyes'.
  24. Damn! Because of my fuc*** job, I couldn't spin a record in last two days.
