Back in October 1994 Don Pullen played with Najee. I can't see this working. To me Pullen was a genius, so maybe he was able to pull it off. A recording of this does exist, which I hope to obtain soon. To me Najee is an extension of the G-man. Anyone can think of any other odd parings?

It is time to replace the needle on my turntable. Although I don't use my turntable all that much anymore, I know it is time to replace it. I went into a local vinyl record store to get a price, and it was close to $130. I find that very expensive. All I need is the needle, and not the cartridge. Any site someone could recommend?

I've followed jazz since the 70s. I have seen many shows, and in the 30 plus years I've only asked for two autographs. Sonny Rollins and Horace Silver. Anyone here collect autographs of jazz musicians? If yes, who do you have?
