I've been to a few of them and feel the same way (and I absolutely can not eat McAnything). I'm mystified by the adoration of the place. I'm pretty sure they are just cooking up frozen flat patties like the ones you can buy at the store and slapping them on a semi-fresh Wonder bun. Heard they treat their workers pretty well, though. Nope. Fresh patties. As to the staff they pay $9.00 bucks an hour just to start you off. For a kid, that's pretty darn good, IMHO.

Not sure, but it is pretty good. Guy In & Out never impressed me much when out west. One chain that did though, was Fatburger. Fatburger is good...but not near as good as a Tommy's Burger. None better in SoCal, IMHO. In-n-Out has it all over the rest of the burger joints in California..
