  1. i.e., chicken?
  2. Moi aussi. Otherwise, I'll invite myself to lunch in Vienna... And I'll bring the cigarettes! So do I! Yep.
  3. I have the same goddamn problem. Can someone tell me "how to get my java fixed"???? (Mac/Safari) "damn, I wish catesta would bring me another beer" and "damn, I could do with a cake baked by maren now" get your java fixed! Yeah Maren, get it fixed. There is beer in that live chat place.
  4. Much love. Thanks for the music, Dave.
  5. Ladies and Gentlemen, A fond welcome to my friend Troy Kendrick--gentleman, scholar, lover of all that is jazz and similar such art forms, player of the bass, lover/hater of Paul Chambers, lover of late-period McCoy Tyner...well, he can explain all of that for himself... What more is there to say? Delighted that my return to Seattle reqacuaints me with an old friend and allows me to (finally) bring someone over to this mad, mad world of ours. Give it up! Welcome, Troy!
  6. Second (or third) this suggestion. And a big thumbs-up to the company. I purchased this program online (Roxio 6). Looking at the website a few days later, they were trumpeting Roxio 7, even though I'd already used my download link and installed 6! I went to Roxio's live chat (support) feature, and told the rep what happened. It turns out I might have mistakenly ordered 6 when I meant to order 7, but no questions asked, she refunded my money for Roxio 6 and ordered me up a download link for Roxio 7--at the upgrade price! Man, it's rare to get customer service like that. Love the program (have already digitized a couple of Cal Tjader records), love the customer service.
  7. Alll-rigght!!!! Happy Birthday, David!
  8. Agree with Jim, got 11/12 otherwise (missed Ronnie Scott--thought I heard that quote had to do with Archie Shepp, d'oh)
  9. Did you try contacting that guy on ebay who seems to be buying all the BN lps--"Lor." or something? I know some here have mentioned having conversations with him...
  10. Thanks a lot guys--these sound great. Randy! That break on funky drummer boy--KILLIN!
  11. 22 degrees at Crystal Mountain (near Mount Rainier) and powder as far as the eye could see!!! Second ski trip this week--yes, there are some good things about being back in Seattle!
  12. Was, and continues to be, sick! And tight!
  13. January 21 at Bakers? Send word when it's finalized and I'll make it happen. I am DYING to see y'all live. Never been to motor city, and can't think of a better reason to do so. Saturday, January 21st is on the books.
  14. Someone wished me a "merry crimble" today. Wikipedia and Dictionary.com come up empty; other searches lead me to pages upon pages of people wishing each other a "merry crimble." What does it mean?
  15. Snowing in Seattle! Go figure! Of course, staff are already talking about "getting home early before it gets rough out there." It's 38 degrees!!! Come on!!!
  16. Or you could game the system: bug me not!
  17. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!
  18. All better! Now, if I could only get chat to work... Probably from me trying to change the order of the links. I just reverted them back to the original code (despite Nessa probably going ape-shit on me! ) and they will probably look fine now.
  19. I get that too, Duke--I think it might be a Safari thing???
  20. Huh, weird... I just get a blank box. It works fine from work ( ) just fine. ChrisA mentioned updating Java, but I'm not sure how to do that. Help! I chatted for a while this afternoon on my Mac running Safari. Seemed to work fine. Takes several seconds for the java thing to work itself out and start running, then it was fine.
  21. No, that's where it was... (although I'd started getting used to it the new way). Also, Jim, I notice the little "O" icon in the address bar didn't make it in the migration. I thought that was the way it was? Am I wrong? I can move it back.
  22. Anyone running on a mac get it to work? I tried with Opera, Safari, and even (gasp) IE, no luck...
