I am not saying that you have a problem with your set up, but having a strong or weak phantom center can be related to your system. In particular, you should check you speaker wires, because if you somehow got one speaker wired out of phase, that can certainly mess with the center. You can also change the speaker placement and change this pretty substantially.

If I were a bigger fan of this date, I'd grab it. Less $100 delivered to the US for a rarity like this? I'm surprised no one has bought it yet.

On my work PC, as long as the .csv file was written "tab delimited", it opens directly into Excel with each tabbed entry in a separate column. If the file isn't tab delimited but uses spaces instead, you'll probably have to import it or read it into Excel. I haven't done that in many years so it's a bit foggy.

I really do like this one.

My biggest problem with a subscription service is that if I decide to stop paying it after a year or two, they can disable the app if they want and I'd lose all that work. I want to own an app and all the work I put into creating a database of my collection. I don't want any chance that someone can kill it.

To be honest, Cuscuna didn't even pick the 3 tracks I thought were the best of 'em.

I thought I had Michael Cuscuna convinced to add all 6 tracks to "The Sixth Sense" but he decided only 3 met the cut. I was glad that he at least added those three.

That being the case, I'd still probably go with JRiver, as it doubles as an audiophile ripper & player and not simply a cataloging app. At $60, it pays for itself in year 5 or using Collectorz.

Are you using the paid version or is there a free version? The reason I asked is because I once downloaded and started working with one of these tools and after I entered about 50 CDs worth of data, it stopped allowing any more entries. I get it if that's the way it works. I am just curious if Coeectorz is like that or if there is a reduced-functionality free version. When I try the free version of an app, I like to really test it out before I buy.

They actually farmed this out to a graphics design company. I've seen better and I've seen much worse.

Does the free version of Collectroz have limits that will force you to buy it eventually? Like time usage, number of titles, etc.? JRiver (https://jriver.com/index.html) used to be the best cataloging/ripping/playing music app out there. Unfortunately, it's $60 per PC or $80 for a "master" license.

It looks like the mono LP has 2 more tracks than the stereo version, "Celedia" & "Wildwood". For a Fresh Sounds CD, they managed to dig up another track, "Bye Bye Blues", that must've been on some compilation over the years.

And a couple of Mobley clinkers. Even Morgan seems to miss a few notes but he covers it nicely enough.

Is he still playing?? Many years ago, #sonnymax recommended "49th Parallel" and it's a great CD. I've wanted to catch Swainson ever since but I've never seen him listed in the Boston-area.

As I sit here being upset that I've been quarantined to my home due to possible exposure to COVID-19, I read about a 40 year old on-line acquaintance dying from pneumonia. That certainly sets me in my place. This is quite sobering. RIP Cyrille. 40 is so young.

With all of the food hoarding going on right now, I imagine that this topic will feature prominently in future table conversations among those who bought large quantities of canned products.

Ken - do you have two copies of this? I bought one of them.

The Shalin Liu performing arts center just cancelled all their events for March, including a Bad Plus show that I was planning to go to on March 22nd.
