There are many thoughtful and memorable passages in this novel, but this one stuck with me.

  13. Eddie Johnson: Indian Summer (Nessa) Don't listen to this one as often as I should. I still have to pick up his Delmark recording. Question for Chuck: On this record, Eddie Johnson has a strong, huge tone. Was that a studio thing, or was his tone just that powerful? I assume the latter.
