Mill Basin has done alright by me. I should have let you know we were coming to the hood. I spent the whole day between Gravesend and Bensonhurst. Had some coffee on Avenue U across from Dairy Made Ravioli and did some shopping on 18th Avenue and 86th Street. Ended up having dinner at Nick's Lobster on Flatbush by Kings Plaza.

2nd Avenue is indeed excellent. Places like the Carnegie and Stage are great and still serve top quality. Both though seem to be geared more for the tourist now. How about this place? Katz's Delicatessen

Please describe burnt pastrami ... sounds interesting. ← They cook the pastrami until it is crispy like bacon. It's very good.

Mill Basin Kosher Deli Avenue T and East 59th St. in Brooklyn. Pastrami! I had a PLT (burnt pastrami, lettuce and tomato on rye) for lunch. I'd forgotten how much of a good thing it can be. No doubt this place is one of my favorite Kosher delis. Tell us your favorite spot for a good sammich or other deli treats!

Genius and craftsmanship of the highest level (and in every regard) at every step of the way are the trademarks of this show, and, imo, they reached an apex in this episode. It just don't get any better. ← Absolutely. It ranks up there with "The Thong" episode. Another great one is when Larry picks up the hooker to utilize the car pool land and ends up bringing her to the baseball game.

I'm not a huge Richard Lewis fan but he seems to work well in this show. My favorite may be Bob Einstein, the guy that plays Marty Funkhouser.
