  1. Same here. I sent Al a PM lastnight. Still waiting on a reply.
  2. Crap! I just assumed most had been received. I mailed to all U.S. participants last Wednesday. The mail should not be that slow. Same drill, let me know if you don't see it soon.
  3. Well, I guess that me makes feel better. Let me know if you don't see it in the next couple of days.
  4. The list seems realy old and stale. A lot of last updated 2001 and 2002s in there. The approved bands list also seems to have a shit load of qualifications and ground rules as well. Some examples: Allman Brothers band: If you ever have problems getting your equipment in the door, tell security that Kirk West, their road manager, has given you his personal permission to tape. If they still give you a hassle, demand that they call him on the walkie-talkie and he'll personally help you out. Please note that the ABB does NOT ALLOW online file trading, oddly enough. Is it that easy to convince a security guy that it's cool? The notes on a band called Cat Power: When I asked Chan Marshall, she said they wouldn't allow any DATs. Analog would be fine, but no DATs. I then tried to convince her that practically nodody was using analog gear anymore, and in the end, it was okay with her provided she got a copy. Inside the venue, her soundengineer (who happened to be the most unprofessional I've ever dealt with) told me they never allow board feeds, but using a mic stand would be fine. If you would like to record a Cat Power show, be prepared to be told lots of rather contradictory things. Also, Chan Marshall is a very fragile, sensitive and moody person. Keep that in mind when you talk to her. The Cure: The band has apparently said in interviews that they don't mind folks taping them, but they never inform the venues of this mindset, so its stealth or nothing. Belgium customs fined a Cure trader recently...
  5. Wet, real wet, and cool. Highs only in the 60s and rain all the way until Friday.
  6. Yeah, how long does it take a moose to drive across the country?
  7. We will be shooting for another east coast mini tour in Feb. So it is quite likely that Jim and the boys will be closer than D.C. to ya. G ← That's cool.
  8. Any U.S. participants besides Marty Jazz still without disc?
  9. On a related note, seafood producers noticed a marked increase in the sale of toothfish when they started marketing it as Chilean Sea Bass. ← Yep. So much that they are getting hard to find.
  10. Cashman has been in an impossible position for a long time: He's hardly in full control of the team, he has to battle the Tampa morons every day, yet he's the public face as the GM, he has to act as if every personnel decision was his even if he fought it from the start. Add to that the way Steinbrenner treats him, its time for Cashman to say "screw you, George" and finally get out of there. Oh please. This was an opportunity of a life time. When the Yankees win he's got no problem putting his little stupid boy mug on screen and radio. When they lose it's because he does not have full control of the team. Do you think he ever thought he would? I mean this is Steinbrenner and the Yankees we are talking about, not Milwaukee. I'm all for him saying "screw you, George" and going somehwere else to showcase his talents. Then we will see what his talents are. And yes Torre will be fired, but he'll have a list of teams to choosea new job from.
  11. Now, maybe this dipshit will finally get fired.
  12. No Chuck, no catesta!
  13. CLICK HERE
  14. Spaghettini with Prosciutto, and Peas. Happy Columbus Day!
  15. That is terrible. I really dig Wallace and Gromit. I'll be checking out the film this week.
  16. Good luck tonight guys! CMU
  17. I don't know dude, it looks awfully predictable.
  18. What kind/style of clothes is he wearing these days?
  19. There were indeed some pics taken. I know Jim and Joe took some of the group. I only had a throw away camera with me, so I'll have to get the pics put on disc.
  20. EXPLOSIVE!! That may be the one best word to describe the performance I saw. Trust me when I say the boys are not just going through the motions, they're the real deal. Joe and Jim were smokin', and Randy was like a mad-man. Very impressive. The crowd was not huge but very lively and most definitely feeling it. Even the headbangers left behind from the previous band seemed to be taken in by what was happening. I do think Organissimo is ready for NY and hope to see them back real soon.
  21. Jim, I will see you guys sometime between 6:30 or 7:00 if you're still around.
  22. It's a celebration! ← Oh my.....
  23. Padres were way over-matched. Now, we'll see if St. Louis is for real this year.
  24. I'm wondering if Harold Z and some of the others are still going to make it.
