  1. "Handcuffing Fools" I love it.
  2. Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about your daughter being locked up.
  3. You have my condolences.
  4. Yes, but you haven't lived until you've been down to the basement. Had the pleasure once of being invited to Chuck's home where I enjoyed a fine meal and beer with a group of real good people. It was the highlight of a cross counry trip back in 05. I don't think this is a thread Chuck really wanted, but what the hell, he's a good guy and deserves some praise now and then. Salute!
  5. Here is some feedback for you, fucko Try not being so obvious.
  6. Sad if that is so. I saw some pictures on his website. He honestly didn't look good: overweight and sallow. Hope he's OK. I didn't think he was 80+. You sure of that? Yeah, he is 81. I've read several times that he is suffering from Alzheimer's. Trumpet player,Joe Wilder is now 87 and still sounded great when I heard him with Michael Wiess in 2006.
  7. I don't think Horace Silver plays anymore.
  8. Junior Mance (81) Frank Wess (87) Roy Haynes (84) Jimmy Cobb (80)
  9. Great clip. Jordan was a great talent.
  10. An all time favorite Yeah, the show really holds up and still entertains. The older I get, the more I think this show was the sole shining moment of seventies TV. What about The Bob Newhart Show? The Bob Newhart Show is another one that never gets old.
  11. An all time favorite Yeah, the show really holds up and still entertains.
  12. It's a great show. Season three is supposed to start at the end of July.
  13. The Rockford Files every night on RTN.
  14. Nooooo, NOT banned! http://www.organissimo.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=648 Yeah well, that was then...
  15. Aw man, don't be. I mean, I dig and respect Brian, but hell, sometimes you just gotta call him on his bullshit, just so he knows that you know, if you know what I mean Word. Didn't get the guy at first so we traded nasty shit back and forth but found out later we had some common ground after he quized me one day about Eddie's Sweet Shop. As for what you say about Chuck, I agree as well.
  16. Using the name England Dan obvioulsy worked as I had no idea his last name was Seals. I remember the music well. RIP, England Dan Seals.
  17. Do You Look Before You Flush?
  18. Well, that's kind of nasty, and both post more about jazz than I do... Seriously? I've never seen either post on a music thread. Maybe they haunt different threads than I do. Weizen pops into hardbop and TOJC/mini-LP threads, while Berigan likes to drop in on swing/early-jazz threads (not a whole lot of those here, generally speaking). They're both pretty passionate jazz fans--I can attest to that. I agree - and it seems almost mean spirited to attack them like that, especially when there are certainly posters on the other side of the political spectrum who post almost exclusively in the political forum. No doubt.
  19. I think we actually had that once.
  20. You're being ridiculous. I hear the sun came up this morning as well... I know, sometimes though it's still got to be said.
  21. You're being ridiculous.
  22. So another firm proposed to me the design of three sites for about $1800 and hosting for $20 a month.
