Head Case is one of the best things on at the moment. And it's no reflection on 'In Treatment' to say that it's a great antidote too. Also digging Party Down and Breaking Bad. Just discovered Breaking Bad and went through the first season in three days. What a great show. Surprised this is the only mention it got here. As fresh as The Wire and Damages. Hmm, I've been tempted to give Breaking Bad a look as well. Are the first episodes available on "On Demand"?

Hell yes! A very sexy lady. And RIP, Maude.

My dog knew you were going to say that.

I'll make a pie and tip one back in your honor.

RC was the shit. I don't drink colas (no caffeine for me), but if I did it would be RC.

Impressive win(s) for Boston.

geez, berigan. your post was only two short sentences, and even then you managed to get your facts wrong. the "man" was felipe solis olguin, an archaeologist who died of a combination of diabetes and pneumonia. of course, i'll bet you donuts to dollars that when the flu does hit the u.s., some idiots are going to blame obama for it. Is it really a gaffe? Reforma newspaper had reported that Obama had had contact at a museum with a reknown archeologist, Felipe Solis Olguin, who died of a combination of diabetes and pneumonia shortly afterwards. Cordova Villalobos clarified the man's cause of death, saying the pneumonia was not related to influenza, but rather to a combination of an unnamed pre-existing condition and a sudden onset of pneumonia that was not related to influenza Other papers reported he died of cardiac arrest including an obituary in an art magazine. Needless to say, no matter what actually died of, if he had influenza that did not help and probably sealed his fate. The flu can also worsen chronic health problems: asthmatics are more likely to have asthma attacks and people with chronic congestive heart failure may have their condition worsen.

Salmon brushed with olive oil, seasoned with rosemary, black pepper, lemon juice and white wine. Wrapped in foil cooked for about 10 minutes. Served with julienned carrots ,zucchini, and imported piselli and mashed potatoes.

I more partial to Buick than the Saturn line, but you may be right. Many fine looking automobiles with Pontiac badge on it. I'm sad to see it go.

Very hot (high 90s to lows 100s) in Phoenix these past few days. Back in New York we are expecting temps in the 80s for the weekend.

Sweet looking bikes, Lon. I played around with the idea of buying a bike a few years back but never went through with it. I'm more of a classic car dude.

Sorry, Flurin, I completely missed this. Happy belated birthday, my friend.

Have a great day, Mark.

Wednesday night, I made Pollo alla Cacciatora con Melanzane served with some panelle. Last night we went out to try a little Mediterranean Tapas restaurant down the block that was having a soft grand opening. Free Sangria! Started off with a salad of goat cheese, apples, walnuts, and lettuce the guy had growing right in the back of the restaurant. He made some kind of hazelnut infused olive oil to drip over it. And for the tapas...., wood fire oven seared scallops served over a bed of some kind of dandelion that tasted like a cross between mint and basil. Also had the beef satay with peanut and a spicy dipping sauce. Last was the fingerling potatoes.

The guy (J.A.W.) said, "let's let this go - I will". Why can't you just leave it at that?

That might actually be fun.

The problems in 2007, which came to a head in the last couple of months of that year, arose from personal attacks and indeed the different American and European interpretations of freedom of speech. They drove members like couw, deus62/neveronfriday and a few others away. I was also very upset and left the board for a while. I miss couw - the board was a better place with his contributions. You're right. Unfortunately, he has no intention to return. Please send my regrets about this to John, if possible. He was a good guy. (and hopefully still is...) miss couw 2. he was a lotta fun. me 3, Couw was a very cool guy. For me the board changed when couw and some of the others left. It seemed to have become a much more serious place. Don't get me wrong I still like it here, but I miss those dudes and the banter.

They want to see how everybody feels about the exit. Maybe someone will beg them to stay. Another day of drama on.... As The Organissimo Turns. insert old school organ soap opera soundtrack here

He was posting what he wanted to post, no? I mean the only thing I remember reading to the contrary was that Jim or someone asked him to stop the continous posting of who was on his ignore list. His gripe was that Jim and any other moderators were not coming down on another member and did not ban him/her. Jim's explanation was reasonable. The member was not breaking any rules. At least that's as much as I know about it. I like Chris and I hate to see a long time member like him leave, but he could have had some dialogue directly and personally with Jim on this. I think we would all agree Jim A. has always been fair and he deserved better than to be shit on like this.

Sounds like the first line of a blues tune. "Sittin' at the libary waiting to get my taxes done (I said I'm) sittin' at the libary waiting to get my taxes done The taxman he take it all away and I don't get to keep me none" I like "libary" just as is. haha, this was to good to let go by without adding a . -
actually, i did pray, since i believe atheist prayers count twice... I like that! I've been doing some research and have been contacted by various board members who are either attorneys themselves or have contacts in Virginia where this is happening. Like I said before, I cannot thank y'all enough for your prayers, support, and encouragement. Shit, be careful is all I have to say. Follow too much advice from the people in this crowd and YOU may be the one behind bars.
