  1. I'll be grilling some Sausage and making sandwiches tonight. Saliciccia on fresh Italian bread with a thin slice of Provolone Piccante, shredded lettuce for those that want it, and all drizzled with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and a drop of Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena.

  3. I think one of Louis Armstrong's trumpets is in the time capsule they sealed and buried in 2000. It's sad to think that many of those instruments have probably been lost or destroyed.
  4. 96! Damn, that's what I call longevity. The Streets of San Francisco was a great show. RIP, Mr. Malden.
  5. Funny stuff.
  6. Organissimo now shows up on that map thing as the source of 76 votes.
  7. I like how Al Sharpton is involved.
  8. A talented guy. RIP
  9. A belated happy birthday to you.
  10. Getting ready to watch episode 3 of True Blood season 2.
  11. It is odd for a Physician to be on hand. Did Thome Thome live with Jackson? Did he have an assistant named Gonzalez Gonzalez? I read an article from December 2008 in which Thome Thome said...."Mr. Jackson is in fine health and finalizing negotiations with a major entertainment company and television network for both a world tour and a series of specials and appearances." Jackson camp denies health problems...
  12. I think that's Larry's way of politely saying, "I didn't mention a sax you jackass", go on back to "misc. non poltical" where you belong.
  13. I heard the Geller version on Sirius one day while driving to Ohio so it's the only thing that comes to mind.
  14. You can call me Dad, you can call me Father, you can call me Jacob and you can call me Jake. You can call me a dirty old son-of-a-bitch, but if you EVER call me Daddy again, I'll finish this fight.
  15. Any chance it was from this? Herb Geller
  16. I guess I'm in the minority here when I say I hated all that over produced shit from "Thriller". The videos just made me hate the music that much more. He definitely made an impact and dominated the business for some time, but I gave up on him after "Off The Wall"
  17. how so? You don't believe legal proceedings will pile up from every direction? a) MJ had a lot of debt - lawsuits are pending, more inevitable - nothing to do with his demise b) it just looks to me like you are taking a cheap shot at lawyers I saw the "Jackson Family" attorney holding a little press conference yesterday. Chuck is right and it's starting already. "We will have to wait to see what the toxicology reports have to say, what the coroners report has to say," Oxmon says. "When that happens, I will be very vocal. It could very well be he died from natural causes, in which case, my gosh, the tragedy becomes even greater." True, Jackson was in major debt and practically broke, but the rest of the family (minus Janet) is totally broke and will be looking for a payday.
  18. Damn, Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson in the same day. I'll miss Farrah....
  19. Hmmm, this may be the first time the word "hand" and a no use for Farrah Fawcett reference have been used in the same sentence.
