  1. I don't know of I changed settings or if this is some new function, but I don't like it. When I begin to type something into the search box is starts bringing up all kinds of possibilities in a box below. It's not search history just close matches. Example, if I start to type in this site... It will bring up organ organ tissue organ grinder...and eventually organissimo forums. I just want to be able to type my shit in, right or wrong and click search with out the extra assistance from Google. Can this function be turned off?
  2. Well, the damn stations don't sign off anymore. That changed everything. I mean, how can they expect us to shut the set off and risk the chance of missing something?
  3. I'm in Phoenix right now and the station I remembered it being on didn't have it listed. So, I thought maybe Jerry wasn't doing it this year. But, now as I look this morning it was aired in a different station. My bad.
  4. Same here, I enjoy it all. Not watching TV isn't what it used to be.
  5. I don't see it there. Doesn't mean it's not there, just that I don't see it. I see "edit", "+ quote" (what is that?) and "quote". Don't touch that + quote button! All kinds of crazy shit happens.
  6. I'll say it was overshadowed, I didn't even see it listed.
  7. If you look to the left of the edit button, you should see delete.
  8. You mean, you deleted the delete button?
  9. Nice guy, he may be, but he's definitely no "chess babe".
  10. The "who left us in 2008" list keeps getting longer. RIP
  11. The Spinners have been part of my Sunday afternoon cooking music rotation for a long time. A great singer, a part of a great group. RIP
  12. Are you aMoosing us with a half-told tale? What, exactly, did happen on Sunday, August 2, 1936? I mean, other than the Olympics opening ceremony in Berlin, the Elkhart Lake fireman's picnic, and the dramatic execution of Zhao Yiman. I think that was the one day he had to himself.
  13. Isn't this like the second or third time this collection has been up for sale and the buyer was a fraud?
  14. Okay, so if the root of Alexander's marriage woes are a result of his his old lady saying, I've just taken Jesus Christ as my personal...., blah blah blah, he should run, right? Look, I know you guys are all giving solid advice and trying to salvage the marriage is the right thing to do.
  15. I've never been to counseling, but this isn't the first time I've heard that counselors will side with the woman right off the bat. Even if more fault lies with the man, it seems like a bad tactic on the part of the counselor, as far as getting the therapy going. Against my better judgement I agreed to go. It was like something out of movie or sitcom. I think I walked out after about 20 minutes.
  16. Not saying your advice is not good, but it may not be in Alexander's best interest to make a commitment like that. I think Alexander mentioned he was not employed at the moment and may not be able to afford a purchase. Plus, what happens if the marriage still fails? Now you've got real property to worry about. After all, he's saying this situation was not totally new and unexpected, they've talked about it before. Sad as it is to say, sometimes you just need to call it quits. Just my opinion. It might not be about the house itself, though. the house might just be a symbol. In which case, there is still room to work with if both parties still have the desire. If not, hey. And even if it's there, it might not survive. But I'm of the school that if two people fall deeply in love and then at some point fall just as deeply out of love that it's worth making every effort to see if it's dead, or if it's just been deeply buried under the shitpile of life before making a final call. I only speak of my own personal experiences and voice my opinions on it. I fell deeply in love and already owned a home when I was first married. She pulled some shit about wanting something that was "ours" not to mention it should be bigger. I did it and just about a year later I wasn't living in the house anymore and it was all over. Not that we didn't try and reconcile. I went to one counseling session that was a complete fucking disaster. Never knew how much I needed to change until I listened to the two of them laying it down for me. I cut my losses and moved on. Shit, do I sound a little bitter?
  17. Now a bunch of us need to call representing various artists and record labels and give the guy some more shit.
  18. ha! Great news. That old shitty paper is what always kept me from owning a copy in that past.

  20. Move out as soon as you can and speed the divorce process along as fast as you can. Otherwise, it will drag on, get emotional (and not in a good way), and the healing process will take all that much longer. It is possible to remain friends and continue to share parts of your life together, it just takes some work and it's never the same. This is of course only my opinion. Children were not part of my divorce so I didn't have that to deal with.
  21. Minestra di Fagioli (pasta fazool) I could eat this every other day. My father always made it spicy and very thick following my grandmother's recipe and I loved it. I make it a little more soup like with nicely chopped pieces of pancetta.
  22. Yeah, he made it look all so easy. Thanks for posting the video.
  23. This is an interseting comment found on their site... We at Saturn emphasize the appreciation of records and memorabilia as artifacts, "period pieces" if you will, in addition to their musical content. Rather than offering a catalog of contemporary reissues and other items readily available through mass marketing, or as "limited edition" collectibles, our specialty is in original-issues and exotic, foreign or promotional period editions. In our effort to continually evolve, expand and improve, we will monitor your feedback to determine if you, our valued customers, have any wish for Saturn to bring you any other types and formats of music. Let us know at service@saturnrecords.com! So, does "exotic" mean bootleg?
