I listened to Dylan's "John Wesley Harding" on the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab stereo SACD, and now I'm listening to the same title in the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab mono SACD. Both are excellent masterings of an album that I find fascinating. Though each SACD is mastered by a different engineer the tonality is very similar. The mono is punchy and fat sound, the stereo a bit mellower and a bit more mysterious seeming. Dylan's music throughout his career fascinates me more and more as I age.
