  1. The American Jazz Institute presents Mark Masters Ensemble “Peggy’s Blue Skylight” Capri Records cd Arrangements (arguably “recompositions”) by Masters of Mingus and Mulligan material. A real showcase for the system–superb engineering.

  11. Boogaloo Joe Jones “Legends of Acid Jazz vol. 2” Prestige cd My system is really all about MUSIC for me and the way it is presenting this music is just as if I’m in a dream. I have really dialed this whole beast into the time and space machine I’ve always wanted. Just amazes me. Jones is one of my favorite soul jazz guitarists, I love the way he made guitars “sing,” especially the Barney Kessell Gibson signature model he was often pictured with.
  12. 300×297 7.79 KB Miles Davis “Porgy and Bess” Sony Blu-Spec CD2 I appreciate these Evan charts more and more as time goes by. They seem less dense than they did in the past and I love the airy layers. This Blu-Spec CD2 edition really does sound great.
