  1. Yes, but it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
  2. I've seen it over here recently but it was pricey.
  3. Muppet Show - Dom DeLuise 1 Muppet Show - Dom DeLuise 2 Muppet Show - Dom DeLuise 3
  4. That was so fucking funny, no matter how many times I see it I still laugh.
  5. I do kinda wish I had these 2 but it was all the alternates that put me off. I have a few of the albums from them and they are a lot better than I thought, especially the "Fantastic Frank Strozier" album. It's a pity they didn't find a way to get the Yusef Lateef album "Contemplation" on to one of the boxes somewhere as it's actually quite good. Contemplation AMG review.
  6. Yes, I thought the Farlow would be gone by now, but I guess his sales figures are the same whether he's alive or dead.
  7. I really like these Duesenberg guitars, especially this one; Starplayer "Outlaw" TV Crap name though.
  8. This was my worst night ever, admits Wenger, as Arsenal crash out Too many kids playing against men.
  9. I have no items for sale at the moment, Thanks.
  10. I would still recommend the one I recommended here; The one on Black Lion...
  11. The Mosaic is OOP.
  12. They were just lulling us into a mild coma so they can wow us next week. I was a bit shocked at how disorganised Arsenal were, they didn't really seem to have a plan. It's a shame Liverpool are gone, they always provide more drama.
  13. Cheers fasstrack.
  14. Chelsea is not playing tonight so it must be better. Yea I was a bit surprised at how negative they were. It was better tonight but United will be kicking themselves that they didn't score more, Arsenal were pretty poor but only down one goal, not a bad result.
  15. Last night ended up as a bit of a damp squib, especially the second half, hoping for better tonight.
  16. You're not wrong there, Max is actually the first and last musician you hear on that classic album. I was giving it a spin the other night along with "WorkTime", what difference six months can make. "WorkTime" = amazing, "Saxophone Colossus" = mind blowing. The only Rollins Roach session I really didn't care for was "Tour de Force", where it seems that Rollins and Roach are having a bit of a pissing contest, only it's not who can piss the farthest but who can piss the fastest.
  17. I was listening to the early Bird sessions on Savoy and Dial and really enjoying the dates with guitar playing on them, Tiny Grimes, Alvin Garrison but Barney Kessel on the "Relaxin' at Camarillo" session is totally amazing, what balls he must have had to take solos in such company!!! I love the tone of the guitars from that era as well, totally raw.
  18. No, but I do believe without you the entire re-issue market would implode, even more than it already has.
  19. Any other opinions on this one, I know some people don't like the bass playing,
  20. Ditto to that and I'll raise it, it's totally fucking stupid. :tophat:
  21. Well they would have no choice, he is a free agent as of the end of the season so he can go where he wants. It was different with Henzie as he was still under contract to United so they didn't have to sell him. I don't know if United really have the money to keep him at the moment. Liverpool might as they will probably be in the hands of new owners in the summer.
  22. I think I'll have to get this one before it goes OOP. I have Vol 1 and 2 but they don't have any alternates. Currently giving this a spin;
  23. Don't you mean good luck Ipswich. They must have some money to spend, he wouldn't be there otherwise.
  24. Tower in Dublin are looking for €20 for it, that's one reason why I'll probably pass.
  25. I find it hard to believe that this thread has gone 5 pages and nobody has mentioned Max's work with Bird.
