But my taxed purchases were not through Ebay. And sometimes I have to pay taxes and sometimes not. So it's getting more confusing as time passes. And I really don't know what the situation is. And I remember the time too when no taxes were charged at all.
Good that you comment on this, because I've also seen additional customs duties with some things from the US. Including two Mosaics I had ordered directly from them or two T-shirts I recently got from Gibson, or a boxset from Chuck Nessa. So I thought it was based on the height of the price.
A framed Dylan picture by Don Hunseth, if I read the name correctly, and a Wolff picture of Donald Byrd from what I think were the cover sessions for Off to the races. Among other things, of course.
A Mosaic I keep returning to often. Pass is equally capable here on nylon or steel strings. And that's a sign of a very good guitarist. He's paired here manily with Claire Fisher or Les McCann. I prefer the former one. Although McCann is also good in a more souljazzy bag.
Oh, yes. The great Autechre. I like this Tri Repetae, but I also like their Incunabula.
Isn't that the guy from Kid Creole & the Coconuts?
That album is one of my all time faves.
Same here. Own too many of the late Mobley albums as standalone CDs to justify that expenditure. But I admit I'm constantly on the fence, because I'm a great Mobley fan. I even own his fifties box.
Yes, I agree. I have that Conn double and can confirm that. I even have the original cover turned over so the Andy Warhol drawing of BN1543 shows as the cover.
