  1. I have that one and am listening to it now. This thread made me search for it and pick it up.
  2. But my taxed purchases were not through Ebay. And sometimes I have to pay taxes and sometimes not. So it's getting more confusing as time passes. And I really don't know what the situation is. And I remember the time too when no taxes were charged at all.
  3. Good that you comment on this, because I've also seen additional customs duties with some things from the US. Including two Mosaics I had ordered directly from them or two T-shirts I recently got from Gibson, or a boxset from Chuck Nessa. So I thought it was based on the height of the price.
  4. And enjoying it immensly! Followed by:
  5. I have it from back in the day, but still haven't read it. It's high on my priorities list but I have too many other things to read.
  6. Like Edward Hopper's Nighthawks, for instance.
  7. A framed Dylan picture by Don Hunseth, if I read the name correctly, and a Wolff picture of Donald Byrd from what I think were the cover sessions for Off to the races. Among other things, of course.
  8. Yes, Justin. Last night I listened to the box again, and that session struck me particularly. It's unissued except for a track that was in a sampler.
  9. I just saw the movie last week in a cinema and loved it. It's absolutely brilliant.
  10. Thanks. But wasn't it a 3 CD box? I have it but can't seem to find it right now.
  11. But isn't all this on the BN released box? Or is there material on the Mosaic that is not on the BN box?
  12. Fresh from the oven. I got it today from a fellow board member.
  13. A Mosaic I keep returning to often. Pass is equally capable here on nylon or steel strings. And that's a sign of a very good guitarist. He's paired here manily with Claire Fisher or Les McCann. I prefer the former one. Although McCann is also good in a more souljazzy bag.
  14. I was wondering why this wasn't mentioned at all.
  15. I heard it when it originally came out, at the beginning of the 80s, but I still like it the same and listen to it now.
  16. Yes, I meant the other guy, not Darnell. But I didn't know he was latin. But that's not strange, considering the music the were doing.
  17. That set is wonderful. I recommend it heartily. I just listed to it partially last sunday.
  18. Oh, yes. The great Autechre. I like this Tri Repetae, but I also like their Incunabula. Isn't that the guy from Kid Creole & the Coconuts? That album is one of my all time faves.
  19. Same here. Own too many of the late Mobley albums as standalone CDs to justify that expenditure. But I admit I'm constantly on the fence, because I'm a great Mobley fan. I even own his fifties box.
  20. A brilliant set with some breathtaking unisons between Criss and Kessel.
  21. I just saw now that you'd already mentioned it. I have that one as a mini LP. I had it in its vinyl incarnation but don't anymore.
  22. Yes, I agree. I have that Conn double and can confirm that. I even have the original cover turned over so the Andy Warhol drawing of BN1543 shows as the cover.
