  1. Same here: I first read it around 92 and reread it a short while (some years) ago.

    Al Cohn

That's a very good one. And Cohn's answer is devastating.
  3. So I finally ordered it together with the Panart T-Shirt. After a small glitch the order has finally shipped now.
  4. That's the same I'm thinking now.
  5. Luckily I have it from back in the day. But I'm not interested in parting with it. It's too good.
  6. Thanks mjzee for that helpful info.
  7. I love small group swing. So I'm in heaven here!
  8. And mind it was a 90s thing and they're 20 bit. But still wonderful sounding. I think K2s sound better than some 24 bit reissues.
  9. The official announcement from Apple was in the news yesterday or the day before, I'm unsure now. I have stalled at version 10.1.0.54 from 2010, I think, because I didn't like what was coming in the new upgrade. I wonder if I will be able to continue to work with that version of Itunes when it is finally withdrawn. Because I also won't want any of the new three apps.
  10. . I also have that one.
  11. I would like the Chet Baker - Diane. Plus 37009/10 Boulou Ferré Guitar Legacy. Thanks.
  12. I'm also happy with it, though it's a bit old. Monk's Music I had already twice. Once as a OJC (I believe) plus a wonderful K2 from Japan.
  13. Bought this from a fellow board member and am enjoying it right now (again). I'm still not through this 16 CD box. Am at CDs 7-8 now, with a fantastic appearance at The Five Spot with Johnny Griffin, Ahmed Abdul-Malik and Roy Haynes.
  14. Marianne Faithfull I love her Broken English album from the second half of the 70s when she was pretty strung out.
  15. That's my exact opinion too.
  16. That's the same thing I wondered about when I started reading this thread. They're from Barcelona, where they have a store (to which I have been). But in Madrid I think they have none. But who knows... Good that you point that out. Now I know what I don't have to do.
  17. I also listened to this and a Howard McGhee sextet that also featured Kenny Drew the other night. Or the one before.
  18. My first Select as it was #1. The first. And McLean's One Step Beyond, the session I'm with now and which opens the box, is superb.
  19. Very well said. I'm from inside the EU, so my expericence might differ from those outside the EU. I also have repeatedly seen that list with "hundreds" of partners, for some of which there is no way of opting out.
  20. I always thought that was purely a Firefox thing, but maybe it's not.
  21. I use a PC and Firefox and since the last Firefox update always get a similar message whenever I am to introduce a password as "the site is insecure". I always ignore it and assumed, long time ago, that that happened because it's not an https address, but maybe it's something else.
  22. Great contribution. I'm with the Parchman prison recordings, about which I read in Ted Gioia's Delta Blues.
