Cheltenham Jazz Festival 2012
marcello replied to A Lark Ascending's topic in Live Shows & Festivals
Slim pickings, huh? I see that Chris Potter is playing also and Gregory Porter is a fine singer. By the way, aren't you Brits just about sick and tired of Jamie Cullum by now? -
If the mold is in the structure, you have to kill it and keep moisture from feeding it. If it's rampant in the walls and the joists and can't be accessed easily to kill the spores, they will have to destroy the structure. Mold needs moisture, darkness and stagnant air to stay alive. If you kill it but leave the causes uncorrected, it will just come back again. Now having said that, the word MOLD scares the shit out of lawyers. If you think it's a problem, you have to let the school know and have then relocate her. There are firms that can do the appropriate tests easy enough. In order to sue, you have to prove damage and that's not as easy as it seems. If your Mother is a member of a Union, let them know you suspect a unsafe working condition and have them demand that the school do a mold test. I know a bit about this because among other things, I'm a home builder and mold issues are something that we are careful about. I've also seen and eradicated a real nasty case in one of my relative's houses. I hope this helped.

Rick, try cling on the "actions" drop down link and then click on "all sizes" and then pick the size you want and download. That is, if the author allows it. Then you can only view.

No, wasn't there but I heard the octet a couple of times. That reminds me of drummer Keno Duke, who had led bands with Big George, Mabern, Stroizer, Julius Watkins and others, with 6 and 7 pieces. Maybe that inspired George.

Manhattan Panorama has at least one track where he plays alto, but his tenor on 'Soul Eyes" (Live at Yoshi's) is one for the ages.

I think the one with the funky hair is Johnny Rotten. The babe? No clue.

Happy Birthday, Tom!!

The Bobby Hutcherson/Kenny Barron duet was by far the best music of the evening. They earned a well deserved standing ovation from the audience and the orchestra. I had the pleasure of meeting Chuck Nessa and Ann Nessa, although briefly. My fault that I didn't have time to talk to them.

Some sources give recording date as December 13, 1957 - further details needed. -
These Energy Star Tax Credits change almost every year. Believe me I know. Sometimes they are funded late. When Congress gets their act together to pass this years credit, you'll see them reinstated. Since each State follows the Federal Law, you'll have to check with your State Office for any bundling of your local programs for credits and/or incentives. By the way, the last Fed. Law covered the years from 2005-2011( with yearly tinkering by officials), but in this election year, everything is up for grabs.

I remember this place! I went there once when Barry Kiener had a gig there with Danny and trumpeter John Marshall. I think I still may have a tape. I see that Barry plays on one tune on the CD : Danny D'Imperio and The Upstate Burners - Live At The Rum Keg Lounge - VSOPink
