I've just A/B'd it against my near-mint UK Fontana stereo copy. The original sounds better - fuller dynamics (especially at top end), better soundstage and more detail. I'm not convinced that this reissue is from master tapes, although it does seem to be in stereo. Maybe they have lifted from a mint vinyl and de-clicked? I bought it as a second 'play' copy to preserve the condition on my original. Certainly though, it sounds better than the Mole LP of this title. Anyone got the Ronnie Ross 'Cleopatra's Needle' Japanese reissue to confirm what this one is like? Quality of the sleeve/packaging on the Japanese reissue is first rate. A very good facsimile.
