GA Russell Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 Paul Desmond, disc 4 Never get tired of this set. It's my favorite Mosaic. Quote

GA Russell Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 Curtis Fuller disc 1 I've never warmed up to this, but I listen to it from time to time. It's not bad, but I don't think it's up to Mosaic standards. Quote

It's not bad, but I don't think it's up to Mosaic standards. I think you're right, but be careful. I said essentially the same thing once on the old BNBB and got flamed big time! Quote

ghost of miles Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 Art Pepper Mosaic Select - Disc 3 CARL PERKINS! Oh yeah--Carl is a great piano love of mine. Been spending some time the past couple of days with the B. Rich and Jazz Crusaders--not wildly exciting (so far, anyway), but good, solid sets. Really enjoying Sweets Edison in particular on the Rich. Quote
