So how was he able to ban people and delete posts and whole threads? I do recall him saying he was a Moderator. Am I missing something or was he removed as Moderator? How was the Bob Jones Link added? Neon doesn't come across as someone that would have added it. While MusicBoy on the other hand comes across as a Graduate Student. Well maybe not a Graduate if you know what I mean. Neon: Come on by anytime you want. While Norah is not my personal cup of tea to each his or her own. Any comments on the Bob Jones University link? I think that Musicboy was indeed a moderator ( Musicboy bio at NJ site )but has had his priveleges taken away. He is now just a member. As for the Bob jones link, I don't think it is directly tied to the site. One of the moderators has a link to his own homepage in his bio. From that site, the link to Bob Jones is available. From my standpoint, that and the disclaimer in the new registration terms gets the Norah Jones site off the hook to some extent. It had to do with Aric going on about how hot she was and how he wanted to do her in his hometown or something like that. I gave a couple of harmless posts to fuel Aric as was the rule back then. She eventually came onboard to settle the score ("Would the real NJ please stand, please stand up" No harm done. She was not opposed to what I wrote (Again I was trying to fool Aric). Now I see what has truly become of the media circus. Quote

The Bob Jones link you mentioned is on the personal website of another one of the administrators. I forget his online handle. Well in that case Neon/Rob is definitely a scholar and gentlemen! Though to be honest I really was hoping that I was one of those MusicBoy was taking IP's and all the rest. I was chomping on the bit wanting to set my lawyers loose on him and whomever he worked for. Since I have them on retainer might as well get my money's worth. Who knows a good legal fight might have gotten the body working right again. It likes nothing better than competition of some sort or another. At the very least it would have distracted me and given me something beside Cancer to fight. Quote

Yea I took that part from Neon as a response to my comments when I didn't know he was the owner that their Employer was liable. Not wanting to stir anything up, but as long as MusicBoy was on company time or company equipment when he made his posts the Employer would have been liable. I don't have anything against Neon/Rob. But MusicBoy would have messed with the wrong person bothering me. If anyones life would have been miserable it would have been him. I would have sued him and whomever he worked for into oblivion. And since my best friend from childhood happens to have been the guitar player for a pretty good size group (at the moment he is working on his Project) I would loved to have matched him on that as well. Though I am pretty sure he knows no one worth knowing. I will say I find it funny that Mr. I Am Big In The Industry wasn't big enough to even keep his job as a Moderator on a BBS. What position were we in to determine the extent of damage he could actually have done or how much trouble Organissimo were willing to tolerate? Until B3-er came forward and basically told the guy to fuck off I think it was prudent to proceed with caution. It is the group's board after all and I certainly would not want to screw things up for the group or the board. That line about playing in his living room has to be one of the highlights of my internet experience, by the way. But once we were able to gauge the feeling of this board's administration, it OPEN FIRE on the asshole. Quote

Well... he was a moderator. Back around the end of March, begining of April, there was a "war" forum set up at the Norah Jones board. Musicboy didn't know his history and made an ass of himself, then he started editing my posts. When I called him on it, he banned me for a couple of weeks. But anybody who goes on about being MR. It was only when I saw the Poll about MusicBoy did I discover there was even anything going on. I knew this idiot was full of it when I read his post. A Moderator of a small BBS is not someone that you have to worry about being big in any Industry. In fact no Moderator of any BBS, unless it is a Big Name Musician himself that is the Moderator of his or her Board (which none of them are) is anyone you have to worry about being Big.
