Alexander
No one ever went broke underestimating the taste and/or intelligence of the American public. The Dukes of Hazzard? Jessica Simpson? Johnny "Jackass" Knoxville? It's got "Lowest Common Denominator" written all over it!

It's got "Lowest Common Denominator" written all over it! ← Yeah, but I have a feeling the studio doesn't expect wham-bam business to go with the wham-bam car scenes and Jessie's bodacious ta-tas, or else they'd have opened it earlier in the summer in hopes of a long summer run. But I'm sure it will make mucho dinero when it hits the DVD shelves and everyone buys it to see Jessie trying to fill out those Daisy Dukes. Noj
It might, at least, have some entertainment value.

RDK
No one expects this to be "good," but it'll be #1 this weekend.
jazzbo
I'm sure you are right about that. Anyone seen the "Boots Made for Walkin'" video? Worth watching with the sound off. . . . Willie looks embarassed most of the time.
DTMX
Did they keep the flag? Maybe this should be in the political forum? BTW: I lived in a backwoods hillbilly town during the Dukes run on network television - from 8 to 9PM on Friday nights the streets were deserted because everyone was home watching them Duke boys. Michael Fitzgerald
If you *must* have a motion picture for the Dukes of Hazzard, why not go to its inspiration, "Moonrunners" or how about "Smokey and the Bandit" (I not II)? Brad
It got panned in today's NYT. That video was bodacious. She does have one hell of a body. Luck Nick indeed.
