Never noticed, Vince Guaraldi that short? Yeah, I bought this one in Chicago last year. Glad to have it, but I think this album would do far finer without the strings. Actually, the strings kind of annoy me, and wish they weren't there at all, but its still an enjoyable record nonetheless, if you just channel the strings out. My opinion, of course.

Available on compact disc as well. The remastering is excellent.

Listening to Thanksgiving now. Tom Harrell involved as player and arranger. Best I've listened to so far.
