catesta Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 I was married on a beautiful sunny day in February 2000.... seperated early 2001...... and divorced by November of that year. But hey, I've been with the same woman now for 6 years and living with her for almost 4 of the 6. Holy shit, I must be getting easier to get along with. Hats off to you people that have made it work, especially the ones in double digits. Quote

DukeCity Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 May 27 we celebrated our first anniversary by finally going to the photographers and ordering some pictures. Our wedding was more like just a big party with an extremely brief ceremony in the middle of it. We got married (and partied) in the warehouse of the local food bank, and instead of gifts, we invited our guests to make donations to same. The photos are great reminders of how fun it all was! Ron S Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 15 years this coming September. To be precise, on 9/11. Quote

Great suggestion, but we'll be a little further South in Cambria, CA. The Sow's Ear. There I plan to make a big splash by having the Wait Staff bring a dozen roses, a bottle of champagne [schramsberg, of course....for the which I will gladly pay the corkage; wine is just too damned expensive at restaurant gouge-prices] then get down on one knee and re-propose to her. I have a diamond ring and the whole bit. I am fairly certain the answer will be yes. Edited June 8, 2008 by GoodSpeak Quote

Tim I told my wife what you are planning on doing and she thought that was pretty romantic! ...now the pressure's on me when we hit 25 Sorry, Man. But my heart is in her hand. She is my Life. She is all I have hoped for and more. I would be remiss if I will have done anything less. I love her more than I can say. Trust me, HG. If you love your wife....you'll do just fine.
