mikeweil Posted November 29, 2003 Report Posted November 29, 2003 Maybe I just missed up on this, but I noticed the edit button is available only for a limited period of time after the initial post. I can think of the reasons for this, but in the case of the Signup list for the Blindfold test or the Album of the Week list this means quoting or posting again instead of conveniently having the one important post at the beginning ... If I missed the announcement of this (minor) change, please point or link me to it. Thanks! Quote
J.A.W. Posted November 29, 2003 Report Posted November 29, 2003 I also noticed this, and it's a major inconvenience in the "Offering & Looking for..." Forum. I hope it can be reinstalled. Quote
grey Posted November 29, 2003 Report Posted November 29, 2003 Without the edit and delete functions I would no longer be able to post any offers in the Offering and Looking For forum. Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted November 30, 2003 Report Posted November 30, 2003 Sorry folks. It looks like the software upgrade automatically turned this on. I apologize... it has now been fixed. Go change those posts to your heart's content!!!! Quote

Guest Chaney Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 QUESTION: Is it possible (or desirable) to change the board settings so that posts could be edited for a short time after they're posted without getting that irritating... Jazzmoose Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 Just for the record, I do not need my wife to organize and/or proofread my posts. I'm perfectly capable of communicating on my own. Is that what you wanted, dear? Quote
