I managed to thumb through a copy at 'Ray's' today but at £45 it was a bit out of my league (bought the Mwandishi book instead). But it seems the prices have gone up (I got mine from amazon.fr, which lists it at 51€ now) and/or the book went out of stock too. Best price seems to be 43€ at amazon.de but it's out of stock there, so ... anyway, glad to have a hardcopy of it, even more so since the kindle edition costs a whopping 32€ as well! (Now that IS crazy in my book!) It is. Some publishers make e-books way cheaper than printed editions, some - like that of the Dameron book - make them only a few dollars cheaper. Seems like they make buyers of e-books pay for the printing costs just as well, which is okay in my view. I am glad that he discusses the copyright deposits including the unrecorded tunes. I feel better knowing that the 20 years I spent on this project were not in vain. Bertrand.
