sidewinder Posted May 3, 2016 Report Posted May 3, 2016 That Tolliver Big Band set is predictably good - for anyone out there still procrastinating on this one... Quote
dougcrates Posted May 13, 2016 Report Posted May 13, 2016 The Complete Clef/Mercury Rec. Of Oscar Peterson Trio is now gone. I'm disappointed as I was going to order this today. Quote
miles65 Posted May 26, 2016 Author Report Posted May 26, 2016 Just added on the running low list: Thelonious Monk/John Coltrane at Carnegie Hall LP Novus & Columbia Recordings of Henry Threadgill & Air (#247) Quote
David Ayers Posted May 26, 2016 Report Posted May 26, 2016 Sign of age that what seem to me like "new" sets are expiring right left and center... Quote

Booklet and Outer box included. Just first 2 discs missing I think. Will see when it arrives. I hope that you find the last two discs eventually. I had the first two discs of the Buck Clayton set and was ecstatic when i was able to find the whole set for a good price a few years later. Quote

IIRC it has totally different mastering to the CD version for which Thelonious Jr. was responsible. Again if IIRC the CD mastering came in for some criticism - I'm completely happy with the LP edition. Quote
David Ayers Posted May 27, 2016 Report Posted May 27, 2016 Re. the OP OP, remember that there was a euromosaic (identical except for Warner serial number on spine) which means there are more of these around and maybe cheaper. Maybe. Quote

bluesoul Posted August 26, 2016 Report Posted August 26, 2016 The Monk/Coltrane Carnegie Hall LP is on Last Chance. Quote
mikeweil Posted August 26, 2016 Report Posted August 26, 2016 As I have posted elsewhere, the Coleman Hawkins set is on Running Low. Quote

miles65 Posted September 5, 2016 Author Report Posted September 5, 2016 Coleman Hawkins is now on last chance. The Woody Herman and the Boogie Woogie & blues piano Selects are now running low. That means that soon all Selects will be gone from the Mosaic catalogue. Quote
sidewinder Posted September 5, 2016 Report Posted September 5, 2016 Talk about cutting it fine - just grabbed the Hawkins and added the Boogie Woogie Select and the Getz vinyl (which is on 'flash' sale). Quote
billyboy Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 Looks like the Hawkins is gone. Quote
Justin V Posted September 13, 2016 Report Posted September 13, 2016 I didn't even realize that the Hawkins set was on lost chance. His Keynote box would make it to the desert island with me, so I'm sure that I would've really appreciated the Mosaic. Quote
