True that. I bought that as a freshman at Iowa in 1962 and still listen to it.

"Happenings" is one of my favourites. 

I also listend to some Hutch today: "Four Seasons" (Hutch, George Cables, Herbie Lewis, Philly J. Jones , 1983).

I've only seen the cover of this so had no idea Coleman Hawkins provided tenor solos.  Wish my brother was around to be able to tell him that - the only noteworthy Miami of Ohio alum he ever mentioned was Tina Louise.

This an Profile easily fit onto one CD...and also make for a very coherent listen that evolves as it plays - Tender Feelin's shows a more developed sense of arrangement than does Profile.

Oh yes. Mine too.

Both of those quartet records with Herbie are wonderful, imo.
