jazzbo Posted August 12, 2023 Report Posted August 12, 2023 Listening now to two newly arrived Teagarden LPs from a four LP lot of Jackson I got very cheaply from eBay. First up was a mono LP of “Think Well of Me”–I’ve had the stereo on LP and cd, but never heard the mono and it’s a great mix, and sounded great. Now I’m listening to “Mis’ry and the Blues” one of my favorites–I’ve never had it on LP only on cd, and it’s a great sound stereo copy. Now I need to decide of I want to splurge on a (more expensive) mono copy. I’ll keep an eye out I’m sure I’ll find one eventually I can’t resist. I’m a Teagarden fanatic, more so as time passes. Rabshakeh Posted August 12, 2023 Report Posted August 12, 2023 Uyama Hiroto – Freeform Jazz (Roph, 2016) First listen to this. I wasn't paying attention and I assumed it was some new London group playing blissed out electric jazz in the current style. I'm quite impressed that it is actually a hip hop production but just some guy. Very sophisticated stuff in production terms. am not sure I will listen to it again though. Quote
