There aren't enough Cowell trio recordings of that vintage. I like his later (Steeplechase, etc.) recordings just fine, but would have liked more earlier trios.

Yes, but that is difficult to find (on CD at least), as is Equipoise from 1978.

All I have is Blues for the Viet Cong from 1969. 😪

More Stanley Cowell -- in a trio format or otherwise -- is always fine by me.   

Also agree that both Illusion Suite and Equipoise are wonderful.   (I have both albums on vinyl.)
