Recorded in performance at The Village Vanguard, New York City; December 5 and 6, 1986.

Sound could be a bit clearer but a great performance and nice tune selections.

Wanted to see how the system was presenting this very familiar recording. Well, it is doing a great job!

Bob Dylan “Time out of Mind” Sony Blu-Spec CD2 lp facsimile (complete with anything that was on or in the original LP release).

This is just a masterpiece of modern rock music.

Nathan Davis Quintet Featuring Carmell Jones “The Hip Walk” Saba/MPS cd

Really nice sounding reissue of this 1965 session propelled by the Francy Boland Kenny Clarke Big Band rhythm section.

Re-listening to side 2 of this excellent album to hear Jack and Goldie. It’s too bad we lost both of these fine musicians too soon. I love the melancholy atmosphere of this LP.
