Oh I love those Dexter in Radioland Albums. When they came out in the late 70´s Maybe early 80´s we all purchased them as soon as they came out. I think "Billie´s Bounce" OR...the bounce of Billie (I think that´s how Dexter announced it) came out a bit later…...

The first I had was "Cry Me A River", "Cheese Cake" "King Neptune", "I want more" and so on......

Yes, "Billie's Bounce" and "It's You Or No One" came out a bit later (but not so later: 1983, whereas the others were released btw 1979 and 1981; as an additional minutiae, CD release date was the same for all of them, 1990).

"For the first lady of the Montmartre. We're going to do Charlie Parker's 'Billie's Bounce' OR 'Bouncin' With Billie'"

This one is fantastic, one of Bud´s all time best Albums and a fantastic Team with Sam Jones and Philly Joe Jones.

Two of the tunes (John´s Abbey and Monopoly) became Bud´s Standard repertoir.

My opinion is, that this one is the very best from all BN Albums Dexter made. It really some hot stuff.

IIRC, Dexter had the same opinion; he considered GO to be his best BN release too.

Started the day off listening to the remastered "Sign O the Times" two discs in the new Prince Super Deluxe Edition box set.

This remaster is done brilliantly! Sounds tremendous.
