Justin V Posted January 19, 2021 Report Posted January 19, 2021 (edited) I found a signed copy of this on eBay last year while I was checking out more Nestico. Edited January 19, 2021 by Justin V Quote
jazzbo Posted January 19, 2021 Report Posted January 19, 2021 Since I seem to be doing LP facsimile cd releases today it's back to this one because it is fitting for a mood uplifiting. Clifford Brown "Jazz Immortal" SuperBit Jazz Classics cd, Toshiba Japan Quote

HutchFan Posted January 19, 2021 Report Posted January 19, 2021 Just saw an astonishing fact about this LP on Wikipedia: It got 3 stars in Downbeat when it was first released. Wow. They missed the boat! I'd be interested to see what the reviewer had to say about the music. Did he think it was too "out"? Quote

Justin V Posted January 19, 2021 Report Posted January 19, 2021 Night Flight has Nestico with the Boss Brass minus Rob McConnell. The bonus tracks are from Nestico's earlier album, Dark Orchid. Unfortunately, Sea Breeze is defunct, so a reissue taking advantage of the full 80 minutes of a CD to include the full Dark Orchid is unlikely. Top-shelf Nestico here. Quote
