Unknown Artist – Persuasive Jazz Album One

Streaming this. I had never heard of it before. According to the internet it is possible a tax write off label that produced very generic jazz covers on a no royalties basis. There are 25 records of this stuff.

Okay, this is a little weird, in a dream last night I remember cellos, and my Dad. The cello was one of his favorite instruments, and so I plucked this from the shelf to listen to, Weilen Kuijken and Jordi Savall performing Sieur de Sainte-Colombe.

These SACDs sound wonderful.

 (And yes, they are not cellos!)

They're from Portland, Oregon -- which explains the name of the group.

Per Discogs, the trio only made a four records for Origin between 2003 and 2012. 

No idea whether they're still performing as a unit.
