Maybe if I could see them live. . . but even if they come to the nearest venue it's a two hour trip there and back for me, and I'd have to do it solo as my wife won't accompany me (and won't be happy wiht me going without her witn any frequency) so I put my money into recordings and system items. Right now Starting off a quiet morning listen with Miles Davis “At Newport 1958” Sony 2026 SACD with 7" packaging. Also includes the material from “Miles Davis 1958” . . . . Sound is great. Starting off with another Erroll Garner on Mack Avenue, “One World Concert” 599×538 66 KB Bass – Edward Calhoun Drums – Kelly Martin Piano – Erroll Garner Recorded at Seattle world’s fair, 1962. Mack Avenue did a great job with the Octave Records series, aided I suspect in part by the use of the Plangent Process.
