Most of my purchases these days are for a radio show, it seems, but I ain't complaining.

Clunky
Just arrived from Mosiac ( took 24 hrs to get here) the Monk/Trane LP. My heart near stopped when I saw the engineering credit on the back stating " 24 bit/192 kHz digital transfer..." OMG.. A quick check to Mosaic site revealed this as a typo. BruceH
Just found the original "Music From Peter Gunn" as arranged and conducted by Henry Mancinni and reissued by Buddha. I've been looking for this for a while, and this copy was only $4.99...I used up a little remaining credit I still had, and the thing ended up costing me just two bucks. Nice! The lineups feature loads of jazz musicians, BTW, which makes sense as the eponymous PI was supposed to dig le Jazz West Coast.

I preordered the new Gregory Tardy release from Steeplechase and ordered Woody Shaw's Stepping Stones from BMG today.
