Forums Slow? You Are Not Alone

The forums are slow to load for everyone. Jim Alfredson tells me that our forum is getting slammed with spam bots that are killing our bandwidth. Jim has set up blockers but he is going to contact the host server company to see if they can help us with this.

Sorry if it's taking a while. Hopefully we can get it back up to speed.

My speed is usually good, but not always. I thought it was my phone and/or wifi getting wonky.

I thought it was my connection. Glass fiber below the road, but the old thin copper telephone cables from there, for forty apartments. But other sites load as always.

It's been really slow for quite a while, especially if I'm not logged in. Somewhat better when I log in, but still slow.

I never noticed especially slow connections and right now, my browser if flying from page to page.

It does appear to be working quickly right now, so maybe the server company was able to do something about the spambots?

I must say I never really had any speed issues.

same here. but sometimes when i get up early i am very slow.
