Chuck Nessa Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 So how was the zoo? It's been 55 degrees and very stormy today. Sun broke out a little while ago and produced the most beautiful rainbow-- 180 degrees of perfect ROYGBIV. Anybody else in Indy see it? We loved it. The kid on the other hand, he walked around with a three foot long face and his headphones on. It appears either we, and, or Manhattan is not cool enough for him. He is wrong on both counts. We've got rain at the moment. Kill the kid and have a life. I hope my post doesn't make this a target of the feds for child abuse. Maybe this should be moved to the political dept. Quote
catesta Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 I hear ya. He's only been here a little over a week but it feels like it's been 14 years. Quote

BruceH Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 Wet, wet, wet. I wish we could give some of our rain to the parts of the midwest that are suffering drought and fires right now. Quote
catesta Posted January 3, 2006 Report Posted January 3, 2006 Rain mixed with a little snow at times.! Temps are above freezing so no accumulation expected. Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 If the sun ever comes out again here in Michigan, it will be a happy day. Quote
sidewinder Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 By way of contrast I was sunbathing at Lake Windermere (Northern England) on New Years Day. Got a bit of mild sun-burn and it was also warm enough to eat an ice cream. Unbelievable - it had snowed there 2 days earlier. Quote
BeBop Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 Back in the US for at least as long as it takes to change planes. SLC is great. Fairly warm (high 30s) and periodically clear. Quote
chris olivarez Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Unseasonably mild for this time of the year. It got up to 44 today currently 23 degrees. Quote
