catesta Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 I'm in Phoenix for the next few days. 80+ here today. Sunny and dry as a popcorn fart. 120 days with no rain. Quote
chris olivarez Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 (edited) Mild weather here this weekend but a rather heavy storm system is supposed to be moving in next week just in time for travel. Crap. Edited February 25, 2006 by chris olivarez Quote
sidewinder Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 Noticeably colder and longer Winter than usual here in the UK this year. Some pretty cold NE winds blasting in from the Continent.. Quote
chris olivarez Posted February 26, 2006 Report Posted February 26, 2006 23 degrees right now. The high school basketball teams that I cover for the radio sation both won district championships so I don't have to travel next week. Yay!!!! Quote
sidewinder Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 1st of March and it is snowing ( ) outside. About 0C but absolutely beautiful skies. The drive to work will be fun today.. Quote
J.A.W. Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 Sunshine and wintery showers (rain, snow, sleet), about 4C/40F. Quote
sheldonm Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 ...heading to a high of about 60 today in Indy....it's about damn time! Quote
catesta Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 I guess we are going to get hit with a slush accumulation on Thursday. Quote
7/4 Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 I guess we are going to get hit with a slush accumulation on Thursday. Then when the sun goes down, the temp drops, everything freezes and it starts snowing. Of course, it's going to be worse out on the island. Quote
7/4 Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 I just checked weather.com and they've changed our forcast to snow on Thursday. Just cold enough to snow. Sounds like they don't know what's really going to happen. Whatever...I work at home and the bar and fridge is stocked. Quote
jlhoots Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 65 & sunny. No precip. in about 4 months. The whole place will probably go up in flames soon, but it sure has been nice out (except for those who want to ski). Quote
birdanddizzy Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 (edited) Paris is asleep now. Cold and cloudy. No snow. Edited March 5, 2006 by Steven Quote
mikeweil Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 No need to tell about the snow here - the most snow in Hassia since 15 years. But nothing compared to Bavaria where they are afraid of roofs caving in from the snow for weeks now! Quote
king ubu Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 Here are a few photos of Zurich - absolutely crazy! On Sunday people were skiing or boarding down the streets! Quote
king ubu Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 and two more - the one on the right taken by a live webcam five minutes ago! Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 Here are a few photos of Zurich - absolutely crazy! On Sunday people were skiing or boarding down the streets! Your city is just a wee bit more beautiful than mine. Sometimes I really hate Michigan. Quote

Your city is just a wee bit more beautiful than mine. Sometimes I really hate Michigan. But I'd prefer your weather! I was in the mountains for 3 days and had actually enough of that white stuff they call snow, but just when we returned, it started snowing like crazy down here! There must be around half a meter of snow, which I have never seen in Zurich in all my (young) life! Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 It snows quite a bit here. In fact, it's snowing now. All the snow melted yesterday, but it's back this morning. This winter has been fairly mild, but Michigan can bring on the snow, let me tell you. I do like the summer's and fall's here, though. It's just the disposable "architecture" and lack of vision that sucks. Quote
king ubu Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 ... It's just the disposable "architecture" and lack of vision that sucks. Plenty of that around here, too - just not in the center of the city (where all the above photos have been taken - you'll note that the church with the twin towers, the "Grossmünster", is on most of them). makpjazz57 Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 32 degrees here and cloudy outside of Bahstan, MA as I get ready to start my workday. Rumor has it we will have temps in the 50s by the weekend. Hardly any snow left on the ground. Marla Quote

catesta Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 72! Unbelievable. Aside from it being really breezy it could not have been any nicer. I've got the windows open. Quote
