The King of the Delta Blues Singers - Sony 65746 (1998) has by far the best sound. It's a single CD, and it's a wonderful album. I actually prefer it to the set below. If you want the complete picture, you'll need the 1996 slip-case version of the 2CD-set The Complete Recordings - Sony 64916.

The title track is going nowhere in my opinion, and it doesn't succeed in holding my attention. The other tracks are OK, but this is not one of Rollins' better efforts.

On the other hand it might not be such good news, it could mean that hat CDs aren't selling as well as they used to...

Thanks for the tip. I noticed that too on my only order I have made at True Blue, but thought it was an error. Aren't True Blue's "normal prices" (i.e. when there's no Mosaic sale) rather high compared to the prices CDUniverse and a few other stores charge, and wouldn't that cancel out the advantages of declaring low value? You'd have no duty, but you'd still have to pay their high(er) prices, which might make the total higher than with lower prices + duty.

That's also my experience.
