Anita O'Day. It was a christmas gift. I was not sure if I'd need this set but all I can say is that it contains some very beautiful music.

#2,925 out of 7,500 - not really a hot seller!

The Monk Black Lion/Vogue set. I've had this for years but barely listened to it (can't tell you why).

Listening a bit earlier to disk 5 of the Duke Ellington 'Reprise' set. This is one Mosaic that grows in stature with every listen. The 'Symphonic' stuff on disk 4 an Afro-Bossa on disk 2 are particularly good. :tup

For a short few years the greatest Orchestra the world has ever known.

And a marvelous job done by Scott Wenzel and Loren Schoenberg

Woody's Columbia - "Love Me" Sonny Berman's great solo, and his "Uncle Remus Said", His "Sidewalks of Cuba" and so much more that this foolish unfortunate genius recorded with the Herd in his short time with us.

I agree Fran, this set is fantastic! It may not be everyone’s "cup of tea," however

This bands enthusiasm permeates many of these recordings and is highly infectious, another winner from Mosaic.

Cannot wait for the Basie Set!
