Of the three Basie tributes he recorded in the late Fifties, this one seems the best to me: Great recorded sound by Tom Nola, much better than the two for Prestige Van Gelder engineered. On this CD, they assigned almost all writing credits to "(R Ellen) Molique Music BMI" and gave themselves copyright of all of the music with ℗ Mainstream Records. Clearly these things are not true. The Sittin' In With label material was reissued several time on Mainstream LP, although not to this extent.
