jazzbo
Gabriel Grossi Quintet "#Motion Live" Whirlwind cd Really nice sound. I'm not usually a harmonica guy, but this is a good one.
Justin V
Harold Land sounds great here, although Harold Land always sounded great.

jazzbo
Not only because I haven't listened in a bit to this favorite, but also because I have a new tube complement to evaluate with this very familiar music. This time I'm listening to the UHQCD from Japan, a reissue of the CTI version from King with RVG remastering. I love the sound of this disc. Joe's Milestones are still sooooo under-rated, IMO.   NP: CD compiles two Prestige LPs: The Boss Is Back! and Brother Jug! Nothing I've ever heard is more soulful than this.   Earlier: This one's been getting lots of spins lately. I know that Think! has always been the more popular Lonnie Smith record, but I like Turning Point better.
