GA Russell Posted January 5, 2020 Report Posted January 5, 2020 I haven't seen a post from Scott in quite some time. Has anyone heard from him? Quote
Tom 1960 Posted January 5, 2020 Report Posted January 5, 2020 Didn't he get booted or am I mistaken? Quote
Dan Gould Posted January 5, 2020 Report Posted January 5, 2020 I didn't think he was booted I thought he declared he was leaving in solidarity with Paul Secor, during that unfortunate contretemps. And to my surprise he stuck with it. Quote
Brad Posted January 6, 2020 Report Posted January 6, 2020 Yes, he was booted but why I don’t know. However, he’s on Facebook and you can find him there. Quote

JSngry Posted January 7, 2020 Report Posted January 7, 2020 Yes there was: As for Dolan, his signature speaks for itself (in more ways than one). Suffice it to say, there's a lot more to the story than that. Onward. Quote
clifford_thornton Posted January 7, 2020 Report Posted January 7, 2020 that's too bad about paul. Shows, I guess, that I haven't checked in too much this year. Dolan and I pretty much had a constant beef but at the end of the day it's the internet and I don't really know the guy, so... it is easy enough to hide someone on here that you don't like to interact with (or be tempted to interact with). mjzee Posted January 7, 2020 Report Posted January 7, 2020 Well, Scott recommended the Emotiva equipment I eventually bought, so for that I thank him. He seemed like someone who just couldn't perceive the way his emotionally-charged writing could hit a reader different from him. He was just harsh, y'know? I sometimes wish the Internet could include a volume knob, to just turn it down a notch or two. Quote

Unfortunately, it's not that easy. Posts from ignored members show up in other members' replies, and more unpleasantly, in the "Posts" column in the lower right margin of the main forum page. I was taking frequent months-long hiatuses from the forum because of the assholic screeds blaring from that "Posts" column. Edited January 7, 2020 by T.D. Quote
