I have a sealed copy that i wouldn't let go of for less than $300. It is my second copy. And it is certainly an important document and artifact!

👍 - Saw Lester Bowie live in Göttingen with the Art Ensemble of Chicago November 11, 1997. He ironed his 'doctor's shirt' himself backstage!

Week 14 picks https://www.tsn.ca/cfl/winnipeg-bombers-edmonton-elks-looking-for-labour-day-retribution-on-their-home-fields-1.2354601 https://pifflespodcast.com/blog/piffles-picks-week-14-2025/ https://doorfliesopen.com/2025/09/04/cfl-beat-247/ Perhaps those of you who read the Door Flies Open picks each week have noticed that I have been playing their pool. I am currently in third place out of eleven. My picks... With one exception, I am picking the road teams this week. Lions over Redblacks - The Redblacks would be iffy if everyone were healthy, but Brown is still out. Tiger-Cats over Alouettes - Austin Mack is back, but the Als are still relying on their #4 quarterback Morgan. Blue Bombers over Roughriders - The Riders have consistently been just good enough to win, while the Bombers have been hot and cold. But I don't think the Bombers will allow themselves to lose the Banjo Bowl. Just a hunch. Stampeders over Elks - I expect the Elks to play much better this week, but I still don't think they are a match for the Stamps. ***** Power Rankings https://cflnewshub.com/cfl-news/cfl-news-hub-power-rankings-the-aftermath-of-week-13/ ***** Game Notes https://www.cfl.ca/2025/09/04/game-notes-what-you-need-to-know-ahead-of-week-14/ ***** Week 14 previews https://www.cfl.ca/2025/09/04/4-storylines-to-watch-in-week-14/ https://www.cfl.ca/2025/09/04/3-keys-to-victory-for-bc-ottawa-in-week-14/ https://www.tsn.ca/cfl/ottawa-redblacks-hope-to-end-two-game-mini-skid-against-bc-lions-1.2355113 https://3downnation.com/2025/09/04/official-qb-dustin-crum-to-make-second-straight-start-for-ottawa-redblacks/ https://3downnation.com/2025/09/04/dalton-schoen-ruled-out-for-banjo-bowl-after-brief-return-to-winnipeg-blue-bombers-lineup/ https://cflnewshub.com/cfl-news/winnipeg-hosts-saskatchewan-in-the-banjo-bowl-labour-day-rematch/ ***** Jordan Williams has signed with the Elks. https://3downnation.com/2025/09/04/edmonton-elks-sign-former-argos-dl-jordan-williams/ ***** *****

Miles Davis “Big Fun” Sony Blu-Spec CD2, disc 1 I listened to this (the two LP set) when I was restless and frustrated in my then NE Ohio small, small town. Over and over. It really spoke to me.

👍 - LP from 1974 on my shelf - without OBI ☹️ ...

“We live in a political world.” Oh yes we do. “Everything is broken.” Seems that way. This album seems very relevant each year this century. I love Dylan as a mature singer/songwriter. And producer. (This one is produced by Lanois though). Bob Dylan “Oh Mercy” Mobile Fidelity Lab SACD

Jaki Byard - Foolin' Myself (Soul Note, 1989)

Ahmad Jamal “Emerald City Nights: Live At The Penthouse (1966-1968)” Jazz Detective/Elemental 2 cd set, disc 2 My system is really singing due to some power treatment rearrangements and the dynamics on this set are far more audible than I had expected. Great playing too. . . Ahmad has his own world of sound.

I guess what I am really asking is if anything will be online (is it known they have a system akin to Vanderbilt's Aviary system?) Housed in a library for specific requests by patrons, with limitations on access or duplication - it's just guaranteed to make this a theoretical resource except for highly motivated researchers and crazy collectors.

I have the Town Hall Uptown on just now… And looking at the copyright date on the tray-card, I hadn’t realized it’d been nearly 20 years since it came out (Nov. 2005) — and 22+ years since this thread first began. Where does the time go??!!!
