  5. Why leave out his Vanguard LP (for example), while you're at it?
  6. Currently binging Clarice Lispector. I am not sure where she has been as I only became aware of her writing recently. Perhaps there have been recent translations into English? Just wonderful.
  7. Bruno Pernadas – Those Who Throw Objects At The Crocodiles Will Be Asked To Retrieve Them I initially found this really irritating but it grew on me quickly. A sort of modern spin on the template of classic euro-fusion with diaphanous female vocals.
  8. April 7 Alexander von Schlippenbach - 1938
  9. A couple of later Ben Webster live dates, recorded in the Netherlands with just a three-day gap:
  10. I've only seen her once - she opened for somebody (may have been Ted Curson) at one of the amazing concerts Leo Gadson produced at the Ethical Society back in the late 70's (see picture for some of the shows - I was able to attend the McLean, Juju, & Curson, and wish I had made the others. The Juju was very poorly attended, but a great show). She was like 20 years old when I saw her, but already played beautifully.
  11. Yesterday
  12. Wish I could be there... I've been a big fan of hers for years but have never been able to see her live. Enjoy the show!
