We got a little bit of snow overriight, enough that the bare trees will be wearing white coats and the beauty will be back with the dawn. I decided to start off with the second disc of this 2 cd set, which I have not yet played though I have spun the first disc three times! No Pentangle tracks. Here's the track listing https://www.discogs.com/release/25026028-Bert-Jansch-At-The-BBC -
Thanks, Kevin. Ubuntu is the distribution I read most often about. Second place might go to Mint.

This again: A stunning album. Is that Jansch BBC set all solo material? Or is some of it with Pentangle? -

I have about 6 laptops running Ubuntu. It's perfect for what you describe. It comes standard with Firefox and Open Office for surfing & basic office stuff. Ubuntu is free. You just need to make sure you have at least 8 GB of RAM for the latest version to run. -
I have Xocia's Dance on vinyl, but I've never even seen it on CD in the wild.
