Yes, Oto maintains a really high standard of programming and has done really since it opened. I would love to hear Keefe Jackson live, lovely player. I realise I've seen the other two at, yes you guessed it, Oto. Not together though.

This concert presents the music of Chicago-based saxophonist / clarinetist Keefe Jackson with bassist Luke Stewart (Irreversible Entanglements, SILT Trio, Blacks' Myths) and percussionist Mikel Patrick Avery (Natural Information Society, BASIC). I've been doing a concentrated Jessica Williams listen the last few days. Glorious stuff.

I like this one. Not released until 1995, these 1957 recordings really draw me “into” the music. A trio with Chet’s trumpet and vocals, guitar and bass.
