  3. 👍 👍 Been playing a trio of Sun Ra records: Super-Sonic Jazz and Sound of Joy are some of the most inside Sun Ra albums. Haven't listened to them in a while and I forgot how they play so damn good on these.

  15. My 4 favorite themes: 1. It reminded me something like Jack Sels with Lou Bennett, but not european jazz. Intriguing. 3. I also heard the Sun Ra connection in the rhythm, no idea who is but I like a lot. Also it reminded me the ethio-jazz influence on bands like Either Orchestra. 4. Fantastic blues, I need this album, I thought of an All Stars with maybe Waldron, Quinichette... but not Prestige. Unexpected. Baritone sax is great, it sounds like Pepper Adams for me. 9. The Coltrane connection.
